re -target your audience and how you are communicating with your

customer retention program.
Customer retention programs are huge in creating a loyal customer base and a happy one. Everyone wants a break and a bad economy. It can be as simple as the common discount or as advanced as tracking their purchases for freebies.
Whatever program works for the size of your business, you need to start applying it. It is easier to keep the current customers than to go after new customers.
When you are competing with mother nature for your customers attention, it needs to be better than a Margarita at the beach. So start thinking and get creative to make yourself and your customers happy during this summer.
